B1 PET de Cambridge cambiará a partir de enero 2020!
… y será parecido al examen B2 FCE.
? ? En Listening & Reading se eliminarán las tareas con dos posibles respuestas tipo True/False (Reading Part 3 y Listening Part 4) y serán reemplazadas con hasta 5 posibles respuestas en lugar de únicamente 2.
En el Reading Paper aparecerá un texto con huecos para rellenar con 5 posibles frases (referencias contextuales) con el mismo formato que Reading Part 6 del exámen B2 y el Listening Part 4.
✨ Desaparecerá la tarea de transformación de las frases que se basaba en reconocer ciertos patrones gramaticales a base de los ejemplos dados. La reemplazará el texto con huecos para rellenar sin posibilidades.
? En cuanto al Writing, en vez de escribir unas 130 palabras en esta parte (entre mensaje corto y la carta), los candidatos tendrán que producir por lo menos 200 y escribir no solo la carta (100 palabras), sino también un artículo (100 palabras).

? Para que el test de nivel sea preciso es necesario que pase el proceso de 'trialling' (su viabilidad debe ser estadísticamente comprobada de manera práctica).
